Obama and Lincoln | Illustrations | News

This illustration depicts Lincoln when he was in the office for a bit of time compared with Obama who looks young in the picture representing how he is early in his career as the President.

There has been frequent talk about how Obama sees Lincoln as a role model, so this was just something that popped into my mind.  It's a little bit funny looking I must admit.

Financial Policy - Geitner | Obama adivsor | News

This illustrates last week's fiasco pertaining to the Senate's questioning of the current solution for the financial crisis.  Geitner had no answers and was not at all happy with the types of questions being asked of him.

Peanut Salmonella | Political Comics | News

Extra, Extra, read all about it
Recently, a discovery was made about how salmonella made its way into the peanut.  The peanut production facility was infested with rats.  The prolific generation of rat turd mistakingly merged with the peanut butter, somehow.

How They Got In
It is predicted that an employee forgot to lock the back door of the building.  Some say they have heard door banging noises for the past few days, bunch of ravenous rats.

Why It Wasn't Caught
The color of the rat turd was nearly identical in color as that of the peanut butter.  Some believed it was peanut butter chocolate they were making.

Bipartisanship | Funny picture | news satire

President Obama tries to bring the two parties closer together.

This picture illustrates how the republicans are resistant to the bipartisanship supported by Barak Obama.  The elephant mascot and the republicans, represented in red, try to prevent the cooperation of the two parties.  The democrats are fervently pushing for the cooperation seen by the mule's efforts to push the arm towards a mutual goal.  The person sitting on the chair, drinking a cocktail drink, does not have to give much effort since the democrats have the upper hand.

Layoffs satire | funny picture | news satire

Some things never change, such as death, taxes, and layoffs.

The current state of the economy is unfortunately unstable.  We are seeing record numbers of unemployment, never seen since the great depression in the 1930s.  The illustration conveys how frustrating it is to lose a job and how people are thrown onto the streets like drunken sailors in a bar after a bar fight.

Without restrictions and rules placed on the bailout, look what can happen.

Aaaaaaaah, glorious are the days of relentless entertainment and excessive indulgence.  Our society is evolving at an increasing rate along with our lavish lifestyles to match it.  Nowadays using tax payer money feels so right, it becomes second nature. There's not even a care in the world.
